2. LA RIAD BERBÉRE
Built in the 17th Century by a wealthy Moroccan family, La Riad Berbére has been authentically renovated by architect Quentin Willbaux. Picture warm red and ochre carpets, contrasting furniture against white washed walls, bejmat floor tiles and cedar beamed ceilings with hanging lamps. With just 5 bedrooms, the Marakshi women of La Riad orchestrate delicious home cooked Moroccan meals to be served by candle light on the roof top terrace. This is a must do.
Located in the heritage- listed Medina, food stalls overflow the alleys to make an intense but authentic atmosphere. Ben Youssef Madrasa and Bahia Palace are only minutes away.
3. THE LARWILL STUDIO
A stay at the Larwill Studio will certainly brighten the sense and invite fun into your stay. The late David Larwill’s (one of Australia’s most figurative expressionists) artwork is hung throughout the hotel with his Signature Remember Me hanging in the lobby.
