Experience comfort, safety and a sense of familiarity when flying Qantas on your next overseas trip. With economy seats offering plenty of legroom – 31-inch pitch and a width of 17 inches, your next trip away will be in comfort. Most Qantas aircrafts also feature a 6.4-inch seat-back TV screen showcasing a wide range of entertainment channels.
Premium Economy is available on most Qantas long haul flights. Offering a mid-range alternative between Economy and Business Class, Premium Economy boasts Marc Newson-designed seats with a pitch of 38 inches (or 42 inches on selected A380 flights) and a width of 19 inches. Each seat comes with an adjustable leg rest and a convenient centre console allowing you to stretch out and relax en route. Snacks and light meals are available throughout the flight, whilst passengers also receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine before take-off. Premium Economy passengers also receive priority check-in and a dedicated boarding lane for a quick embarkation.
We all love the idea of flying Business Class and for those of us lucky enough to do so, Business Class cabins on Qantas’ A380, A330 and B747 aircraft feature the airline’s popular Skybed. There are two versions of the Skybed with the latest Skybed offering a full recline as well as converting into a six-foot, six-inch long bed. As well as offering an 80-inch pitch and your own dedicated 12-inch touch screen TV, it’s the ultimate in in-flight Business Class comfort. The original Skybed offers a 60-inch pitch and is 21.5 inches in width, although it does not recline to a full 180 degrees.
As with Premium Economy, all Business Class guests are entitled to priority check in as well as priority baggage. The benefit of Business Class over Premium Economy apart from the Skybed is the Qantas lounge access before and after your trip, here you can freshen up, enjoy a delicious menu as well as relax before you take your flight.
Relax in the gorgeous First Class lounge before you board your flight enjoying facilities such as a spa treatment. Once you board the plane you will be escorted to your First Class suite. The inflight dining for Qantas First Class passengers is from the famous Rockpool Restaurant with all meals designed by Neil Perry. To match your food with wine, you can speak with the Qantas Sommeliers who will be there right beside you to ensure the perfect meal!
Amenity kits which include pyjamas are designed by Martin Grant and are provided on all First Class flights, while snacks and light meals are offered throughout the flight.
